Soft, harmless pop (before I post some more "catchy" stuff later on :P)

Most of the time I listen to violent stuff, so people might think that's ALL I like. It's not true, I sometimes appreciate a little pop or pop/rock...given it's not too plain and/or that it's beautiful.

This song is extremely well-known, "commercial" in a way, soft. But I love it!

But THESE guys below really get to me! Such amazing music. Both of their albums soooo great, from A to Z. Presenting Needtobreathe!

"More than this". It's very peaceful. Sometimes I listen that kind of music, but not very often. Generally I listen rock/metal for noise, because it's foaming and because I need this feeling. And when I want to listen something quiet I choose trip hop, reggae, bands like Altan, Tricky, Massiv Attack, Tegan and Sara, Sioen. However, I rapidly return to "noisy music" ^^ all the time.

Oooh I'm sorry the video doesn't help I guess, and I didn't make it clear anyways. But the first song is actually called "Shattered", "More than this" being the album's title... :S

I don't usually listen to much soft music either. I find trip-hop quite good (despite my not having much of a developed Trip-hop culture :S) , but I don't like reggae too much. Something about the whole reggae "attitude" annoys me a little. Usually when I want soft, I'll turn to pop bands like the ones on this post, or punk/pop/rock bands like Hawk Nelson or Pennywise, or Simple Plan. I also like City and Color, Oasis, Coldplay, Keane, Grails, Paloalto, Thirteen Senses and some old classics like the Connells or Elton John lol. (and obviously many more but you probably don't want to have my whole library lol) Another soft band I like (although it used to be a screamo/hardcore band) is "Far-less". "A toast to bad taste" is a very rich and tasteful album, despite its title. ^^

Anyways, back to the dillinger escape plan lol...
